Fragrances in Test
At Darlene's Southern Comforts we work very hard to carry the maximum
amount of fragrances as possible. We test on average 5 to 7 fragrances a week,
they are tested for cold throw, hot throw, burn pool, sooting, proper smell, wick
configuration, and the list goes on. If for any reason the candle doesn't score well
in all of the tests, it is what we call a failed candle. These candles are remelted,
discarded and the process starts all over again. Very few fragrances actually
make it through. This is evident by the limited fragrances that we do carry,
considering that we have tested several hundred of them.
We routinely receive requests from our customers to enter specific fragrances into
the test group. Please keep in mind that from the request to the final product may
take up to six weeks.(Well worth the wait according to our satisfied customers)
Listed below are the new fragrances that have been tested and are in the process
of being made.
